Care Network Ireland is recruiting Care Assistants for elderly care services in Co. Dublin. Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available.
Key duties:

Provide personal care and support with daily activities.

Support patients and service users in a respectful, person-centred way.
-
Work with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
-
Follow infection prevention, health and safety procedures.
-
Assist with meals and follow food safety/HACCP requirements.

Safely assist with the movement of patients and equipment.
Requirements:
-
QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support, with all 8 modules completed, or an equivalent recognised qualification.

Minimum 150 hours of relevant care experience in a residential, hospital or community setting.

Relevant training in Manual Handling, Health & Safety, Food Safety/HACCP and CPI/PMAV.
-
Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
-
International Police Clearance may be required where applicable.

Hourly rates from €18.01 to €50.79, depending on the assignment, shift and experience.
