Store manager wanted
We are looking to hire a capable and talented store manager to run our brand new Jack & Jones franchise store in The Whitewater Shopping Centre Newbridge. This is an opportunity not to be missed! You get to join a successful retail company at a very exciting time for growth.
The following will be some of your day to day duties:
- Taking the reigns of a brand new store from the off.
- Creating and leading a team in a friendly, KPI driven environment.
- Responsible for all areas of running a store, including:
- Driving turnover, a key part of making this store a success.
- Budget control, running a lean machine.
- Stock analysis, know what sells.
- Stock control, aim for exceptional stock loss results.
- Recruiting, you get to form your own team from the beginning.
- Talent development, create leaders among your team.
- Performance management, coach and guide to improvement.
- Idea generation, including social media and promotion of the store.
- Visual merchandising, we want the shop to be commercial and inviting.
- Customer service champion, aim to deliver the best customer service in the town.
- This job requires someone who leads from the front and by example.
- This role will not suit a clip board manager.

Who will you work for?
The company you will be joining is called GMC Retail Ltd. We mainly franchise Jack & Jones and Vero Moda stores dotted around the country. GMC have been in business for well over 20 years and continue to do well. We spot a fantastic opportunity to open a brand new state of the art Jack & Jones store in Newbridge. As it is a franchise store, you get the benefit of a top class store fit out and analysis tools, while working for a family run business. With GMC, the directors will know your name. Not every company is lucky enough to say that.

We hope to fill this position by the 12th October., ready for store opening at the end of the month. The right candidate will receive a generous remuneration package, including potential to achieve bonus.
Store management experience is a must, minimum 12 months.
Pay: €38,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
