We are seeking skilled general operatives to join our team. We have several positions currently available, focused mainly in Connaught and Leinster, working from either Kilcoole, Wicklow or Castlebar, Mayo . All candidates will have a background in construction and general site work and will have a keen interest in learning new skills.
- General site clearing work
- Excavation of trenches
- Groundworks
- Breaking out, removal and replacement of blockwork
- Reinstatement work, including backfilling, drainage and concrete finishing
- Actively participate in pre-work Safety Risk Assessment and Job Site Safety Plan
A positive attitude, good communication, a willingness to work well with people and a dedication to providing good customer service are essential attributes.
This role will suit those who have been working as a general operative for a period and wish to advance to learning new skills and leading a small team. The role will be performed in field/site environments and will involve nationwide travel. Ability to stay away from home is essential in provided accommodation. .
Desired skills and qualifications
- Skilled in general building construction and/or groundworks.
- Full, clean driver’s license.
- Safepass and Manual Handling
- CSCS tickets (e.g. LUGS, 360 excavator, etc).- willingness to attend training
- Attention to health and safety at work.
- Experience in being part of small site teams.
