Pipe Welders & Pipe Fitters – Stainless Steel Pipework

Role Overview
We are seeking experienced pipe welders and pipe fitters to work on stainless steel pipework for upcoming projects. Successful candidates will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and welding of stainless steel piping systems to a high standard of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, install, and modify stainless steel pipework to drawings and specifications.
- Carry out TIG welding on stainless steel pipes to required codes and standards.
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and site sketches.
- Measure, cut, bevel, and prepare pipes and fittings for installation.
- Carry out onsite fitting, alignment, and support of pipe runs and associated components.
- Perform quality checks on welds and joints, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory standards.
- Work safely at all times, following company procedures and statutory health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to meet project deadlines.
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- Recognised welding qualification in TIG.
- Valid welder coding / welding certificates for stainless steel pipework.
- Relevant trade qualification as a pipe fitter or equivalent.
- Up-to-date Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificate.
- Additional safety training (Working at Heights, MEWP, Confined Space) an advantage.
Experience
- Proven experience working with stainless steel pipework in industrial, pharmaceutical, food, or process environments.
- Experience in TIG welding DN and SCH stainless.
- Demonstrable track record of high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong TIG welding skills on stainless steel pipes.
- Ability to work from technical drawings with good attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines with minimal supervision.
Employment Details
- Full-time position.
- Competitive rate of pay.
- Overtime and weekend work may be required depending on project needs.
Pay: From €29.00 per hour
