A full time vacancy exists in our Print Department. Experience with Mark Andy and Omega is highly desirable but Flexo experience will do. A strong understanding of flexographic printing processes, material and equipment required.
Set up and operate print machinery to optimum levels in a safe working manner, ensuring that the machinery and surrounding areas are maintained in line with health and safety.
Adhere to, and follow, job set procedures, while ensuring job set up in the most efficient time using minimal ink and materials.
Identifying and obtaining the plates, job envelope, dies, material and inks to be used on each job.
Recording correct and full information through production sheets on how jobs are produced and exactly what settings are required to repeat the process.
Carry out print inspections and troubleshoot issues with the printing press or print quality.
Display flexibility to support other areas of production, willingness to see each job through from start to finish
