Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Domestic Appliance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering exceptional service while maintaining the high standards that have earned us our longstanding reputation. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of a wide range of domestic appliances in customers’ homes, ensuring top-quality results with a focus on safety, detail and care to customers’ homes and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of domestic appliances, including washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, fridges, and more.
- Install appliances to the highest industry standards, ensuring they are safe, functional, and efficient.
- Handle all repairs and installations with an unwavering attention to detail, ensuring the best possible results paying close attention to the cleanliness and safety of their homes and products
- Treat every customer's home with respect and care, ensuring a tidy and professional environment throughout your visit.
- Provide clear, friendly, and professional communication to customers, explaining the work undertaken and offering valuable advice on appliance care.
- Maintain the integrity of our 40-year reputation by upholding the company’s high standards of customer service and craftsmanship.
- Keep accurate records of all work, including repairs, parts used, and any follow-up recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with the team to share knowledge and ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain safety standards and adhere to all relevant regulations.
- Perform duties according to all Company policies, procedures and instructions.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Domestic Appliance Engineer or similar role is preferred but not essential. Have experience in at least one of the following: Electronics, Electrical, Plumbing or Refrigeration is advantageous
- Strong diagnostic skills, Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills is preferred. Technical knowledge of domestic appliances or other similar electrical systems is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail in both your work and customer interactions.
- A genuine commitment to customer satisfaction, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- A full Irish driving license.
- A respectful approach when working in customers' homes, ensuring minimal disruption and cleanliness.
- Relevant technical qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit, family-oriented team.
- Be able to manage time effectively and efficiently
- Candidate must be Self-motivated and well organised
