A valued client of Primtac Personnel is seeking a hands-on
Field Service Engineer to join a specialist technical team supporting
vehicle equipment across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electrical and/or mechanical experience who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering high-quality service to customers.
The Role
- Fault-finding, diagnostics and remedial repairs
- Installation and commissioning of vehicle testing and lifting equipment
- Ensuring all work complies with quality, safety, health and environmental standards
- Equipment calibration to ISO17025 standards
- Completing accurate service reports and job documentation
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and servicing
- Following established company procedures and technical standards
You'll ideally have:
- A professional, customer-focused approach
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled engineering environment
- A full, clean Category B driving licence
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good IT skills, organisation and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
The role will primarily support customers across
Munster and the Midlands, with occasional nationwide travel and overnight stays required.
