Description
Full-time staff required for the Students' Union Shop (XL) located on campus at the University of Galway starting at the beginning of September 2026.
Duties include
Attending to the needs of customers and maintaining a high standard of service.
Ensuring that all company procedures, including HACCP, are adhered to at all times.
Operating tills and reconciling cash at the end of shift.
Stock order, goods inwards and product replenishment duties
Merchandising displays and making sure all SEL’s are correct
Rotating products in line with best practice to ensure zero waste levels are achieved
Goods Inwards duties include receiving deliveries from suppliers, checking products against delivery dockets and stocking deliveries in the storeroom prior to being needed on the shop floor- sales area
Full training will be provided in the areas listed above.
