ASA Solar is a newly established Solar PV installation company delivering high-quality solar solutions for homes and businesses across Ireland.
Although ASA Solar is a new company, it is backed by the experience, reputation and operational strength of ASA, an established access control, security and automation business with over 20 years’ experience working across domestic and commercial projects nationwide.
We are now looking for a Qualified Solar PV Electrician to join the business at an early stage and play a key role in delivering high-quality Solar PV installations for domestic and commercial customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician with Solar PV installation experience who wants to take ownership of their work, deliver projects to a high standard, and grow with a new company backed by an established Irish business.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and carrying out the electrical aspects of Solar PV installations across a range of property types, including homes, farms and larger commercial sites.
You will ensure all electrical works are completed safely, professionally and in line with current standards, while coordinating with roofers, contractors, management and office staff to ensure each installation runs smoothly from start to finish.
A key part of this role will be representing ASA Solar professionally on site and helping to deliver a strong customer experience from installation through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and carry out the electrical aspects of Solar PV installations across domestic, agricultural and commercial sites.
- Complete electrical works safely, professionally and to a high standard.
- Work on a variety of property types, including houses, farms and larger commercial premises.
- Coordinate with roofers, contractors, project management and office staff throughout each installation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, property managers and site contacts.
- Ensure electrical works are completed within agreed timelines wherever possible.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
- Support a smooth installation process from start to finish.
- Represent ASA Solar professionally on site and contribute to a high-quality customer experience.
Requirements
- Qualified electrician with relevant industry experience.
- RECI / Safe Electric experience or registration is strongly preferred.
- Previous Solar PV installation experience is preferred not mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a qualified electrician.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation standards and safe working practices.
- Ability to coordinate with roofers, contractors, management and other trades.
- Strong work ethic and a professional approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers, colleagues and site contacts.
- Full clean driving licence essential.
- Relevant Solar PV, health and safety, manual handling, working at heights or Safe Pass training is preferred.

- Salary of €50,000 – €70,000 depending on experience and fit for the role.
