Grooveyard Event Management is hiring for a strong Senior Account Manager to join a thriving team. Reporting to the Head of Brand, the successful candidate will work alongside the Grooveyard team on a range of campaigns, and will coordinate the planning, implementation and campaign analysis for each project. Working with a set team, the successful candidate will manage workflow and lead on the administrative direction of a variety of ongoing projects.
Role
The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for:
End-to-End Campaign Management: Leading the planning, logistics, and execution of large and medium-scale projects within the marketing and events sectors.
Client Relationship Management: Creating and maintaining strong working relationships with key client contacts to ensure efficient and seamless project delivery.
Supplier Management: Overseeing the procurement and contracting of third-party suppliers, as well as effective briefing to ensure flawless project delivery.
Team Leadership: Demonstrating leadership within a team of Account Managers and Account Executives, to ensure continued development as well as fostering collaboration across projects.
Budget Accountability: Taking ownership of project budgets, diligently tracking expenditure to ensure optimal value for clients.
Project Timeline Management: Maintaining project timelines and navigating deadlines to meet clients' needs efficiently and effectively. Must be comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently.
Independent Decision-Making: Displaying autonomy and rapid decision-making abilities to ensure successful project outcomes regardless of time constraints.
Creative Ingenuity: We're seeking a candidate with a natural flair for innovation and creative problem-solving, contributing fresh perspectives to our events.
Initiative and Drive: We value proactivity and motivation, relying on you to take the lead and drive projects to successful outcomes.
Meticulous Attention to Detail: Your keen eye for detail will ensure that every aspect of our events, no matter how small, meets the high standards Grooveyard upholds.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three years’ experience at senior agency level
- 3rd level degree ideally in a related field, alternatively accredited 3rd level Cert/Diploma in Events or Marketing
- Demonstrable success in conceiving, executing, and managing events of various scales is essential.
- Agility to work across varying project briefs.
- Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead and empower a team.
- Be personable and have experience managing a team and individuals.
- Be deadline oriented.
- Experience in managing budgets.
- Proficiency in both Microsoft and G-suite would be a distinct advantage.
- Comfort in evaluating reporting data is required.
