Enet is Ireland’s largest, open access network provider, building and operating the largest alternative wholesale telecoms network in Ireland.
As the Junior Business Process Analyst at Enet, you will be supporting the analysis, mapping and improvement of end-to-end business processes across the group. You will help identify where processes can be reshaped around automation, data and AI-native principles, working under the guidance of the Head of Data, Automation AI and senior colleagues within the function.
You will support the business/functional process owners in documenting current-state processes, and works closely with senior analysts, automation engineers and solution architects to help translate agreed process designs into clear requirements for the wider Data, Automation AI delivery lifecycle.
This is a developmental, technical l role where you will build process analysis, data and automation/AI skills and experience under supervision, with growing autonomy as capability develops.
This role is a one year specified purpose contract. We operate a hybrid working model, with 2 days per week in our Limerick office (Tuesday and Wednesday.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Analysis Design
Support business process analysis, mapping and documentation of current-state processes across business functions, under the guidance of senior colleagues.
Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Learn and apply process/workflow modelling notation (e.g. BPMN) to document processes, with review and support from senior team members.
Support process mining and data analysis activities to help identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
Automation and AI Enablement
Support the Head of Data, Automation AI and senior analysts in identifying and scoping process automation and AI-enabled improvement opportunities.
Work with automation specialists, software engineers and solution architects to help translate agreed requirements into clear, actionable inputs for solution design.
Support user acceptance testing and post-implementation review activities under guidance from senior colleagues.
Stakeholder Engagement Change
Participate in requirements-gathering workshops and stakeholder interviews, supporting senior analysts.
Support change and adoption activities for new processes and ways of working.
Help maintain process performance metrics and reporting, escalating findings to senior colleagues.
Support the development of training material and enablement content for impacted business areas.
Learning Development
Actively develop process analysis, data and automation/AI skills through on-the-job learning, coaching and formal training.
Build working knowledge of the process, data, automation and AI tools and methods used within the function.
Contribute ideas and observations to support continuous improvement of ways of working within the team.
Key Skills / Qualifications:
Relevant degree (Business, IT, Engineering or related discipline) or equivalent experience; open to graduates and early-career candidates.
1–3 years' experience in a business analysis, process improvement or related role (internships/placements considered).
Exposure to, or willingness to train in, process/workflow modelling methodologies (e.g. BPMN, UML).
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
The successful candidate will bring strong analytical and communication skills, a genuine interest in process improvement, automation, data and AI, and the motivation to build a career in business process analysis. Prior exposure to Lean Six Sigma, RPA, process mining or BI tools is an advantage but not essential — full training and mentoring will be provided.
