Pennyhill Pub is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and leading from the front. Supporting General Manager and the rest of the team ensuring the smooth running of a busy pub environment.
About The Role
The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a pub, bar, or hospitality environment (3 years)

Strong leadership and team management skills

A hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively in a busy service environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy trading periods
Key Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in the daily operations of the pub

Ensure consistently high standards of customer service are delivered at all times

Assist with staff training, development, and performance management

Ensure all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations are fully adhered to

Support the delivery of sales targets, cost controls, and overall business performance
