We are looking for an experienced and reliable part-time bar person to join our team at our busy Clubhouse Bar in the Cork City suburbs.
The ideal candidate will have previous bar experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. We are particularly interested in candidates who are capable of taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the bar, including staff rostering and stock ordering.
Responsibilities:
- Serving drinks and taking customer orders
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Maintaining cleanliness of the bar and work areas
- Handling cash and card payments
- Working as part of a team during busy periods
- Taking charge of bar operations when required
- Preparing staff rosters and managing staffing levels
- Placing stock orders and monitoring inventory
- Ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance are maintained
Requirements:
- Previous bar experience essential
- Supervisory or management experience desirable
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Reliable, flexible, and customer-focused
