Finance & Business Operations Manager
Tempo Football Academy | Full-Time | Limerick
Tempo Football Academy is seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Finance & Business Operations Manager to join our growing organisation.
Working directly with the CEO, this person will take ownership of the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the business while also providing executive support to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial administration across the business
- Prepare monthly income and expenditure reports for the CEO
- Monitor company cash flow, income, expenditure and upcoming commitments
- Manage invoicing and track incoming payments
- Follow up on outstanding accounts and payment plans
- Organise supplier invoices and prepare payments for approval
- Prepare payroll information and liaise with the company's external accountant
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations
- Monitor programme budgets and financial performance
- Manage staff expenses and associated administration
- Support the CEO with budgeting, financial planning and reporting
- Manage key CEO administration, meetings, deadlines and follow-ups
- Maintain company documentation, contracts and administrative records
- Support administration across our football academies and education programmes
- Manage financial administration relating to international tours, tournaments, camps and events
- Liaise professionally with staff, parents, suppliers and external partners
- Develop and improve internal administrative and financial systems as the organisation grows
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident working with numbers and financial information
- Experienced in finance administration, business operations, office management or a similar role
- Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable learning new business systems
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and areas of responsibility
- Professional and confident dealing with staff, customers and suppliers
- Comfortable following up on outstanding payments
- Proactive and capable of working independently
- Trustworthy and comfortable handling confidential business information
- Able to work directly with a CEO in a fast-moving and growing organisation
Formal accountancy qualifications are not essential, as Tempo works with external accounting professionals.
Football knowledge is also not required. We are primarily looking for a strong business operator who can bring organisation, structure and accountability to the role.

Pay: €35,000.00-€37,000.00 per year
