We’re hiring a People & Talent Executive to support the People & Culture function of Ireland’s Deposit Return Scheme on a 12 month fixed term contract. The HR Executive plays a key role in supporting the delivery of core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, with a primary focus on recruitment, onboarding, training, talent planning, and HR administration. This role ensures a consistent, high-quality employee experience while supporting organisational capability, compliance, and operational efficiency.

What you’ll do:
Recruitment & Selection
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, alongside the hiring manager, including role briefing, job postings, screening, interview coordination, and offer management
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and ensure timely and effective hiring
- Ensure a strong candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Maintain recruitment trackers, metrics, and reporting (e.g. time-to-hire, pipeline, candidate source)
- Support employer branding initiatives and talent attraction strategies including the development of a company careers page
- Coordinate equipment set up and access prior to new starters joining
Onboarding & Induction
- Coordinate and deliver structured onboarding programmes for all new hires
- Coordinate and schedule inductions with all relevant departments
- Ensure all pre-employment checks and documentation are completed (contracts, references, compliance requirements)
- Act as a key point of contact for new employees during onboarding
- Partner with managers to ensure effective role integration and early engagement
- Continuously improve onboarding processes based on feedback and outcomes
- Ensure probationary reviews are carried out in a timely manner
Training & Development
- Support the coordination and administration of the company’s learning and development initiatives
- Maintain training records and compliance tracking (mandatory training, certifications, etc.)
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external providers on training delivery
- Assist in identifying training needs and supporting development plans
- Monitor and track training effectiveness and participation
HR Administration & Systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records on the HRIS (BambooHR)
- Prepare HR documentation including contracts, letters, and employment changes
- Coordinate and track all probation periods, ensuring key milestones (e.g. 3- and 6-month reviews) are scheduled and completed on time
- Support payroll inputs and ensure data accuracy in coordination with finance/payroll providers
- Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and internal policies
- Respond to employee queries in a professional and timely manner
Essential
- 2 – 4 years experience in a Generalist HR or Recruitment role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Previous demonstrated experience managing and coordinating high levels of recruitment are essential for this role
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice
- Proficiency in HR systems (e.g. BambooHR or similar) and MS Office
- CIPD Qualification
Desirable
- Experience in a fast-paced, scaling organization
- Exposure to talent planning or L&D initiatives
- Experience using BambooHR
