Chef de Partie – Tapas Specialist

Salary: €36,605 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week
Job Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Take primary responsibility for the preparation and execution of tapas/small plates dishes (and desserts when needed), ensuring consistency, presentation, and flavor.
- Assist with other kitchen stations as needed to maintain service flow.
- Maintain high culinary standards in line with the restaurant’s brand and ethos.
- Adhere to HACCP guidelines and ensure all food safety and hygiene protocols are followed.
- Monitor mise en place, stock rotation, and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate on menu development and seasonal offerings.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent in a professional kitchen.
- Proven experience and passion for food and cooking, with an understanding of Mediterranean and international flavor profiles.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative in a busy kitchen.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- HACCP certification and working knowledge of food safety practices.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
