We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking Sales Assistant to join our busy and growing home interiors shop.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in interiors and is comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced, busy retail environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and helping customers find furniture and home furnishings that suit their needs and style.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming and assisting customers in the showroom
- Providing friendly, knowledgeable and professional customer service
- Helping customers choose furniture, flooring and home accessories
- Processing sales and taking payments
- Answering customer queries in person, by phone and online
- Following up on customer enquiries and quotations
- Keeping the showroom clean, tidy and beautifully presented
- Assisting with displays and merchandising
- Helping with deliveries, stock and general showroom duties when required
- Working as part of a busy team

- A good communicator with excellent people skills
- Sales-focused and motivated
- Organised and able to multitask in a very busy environment
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Well presented and professional
- Interested in furniture, interiors and home décor
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Previous retail or sales experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right person
Pay: From €15.50 per hour
