We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and motivated Head Chef to lead our catering team and deliver high-quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary needs of our residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations while leading and developing the catering team.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operation of the kitchen.

Prepare and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals.

Ensure compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, IDDSI, and Health & Safety standards.

Manage stock control, ordering, and food storage.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Monitor kitchen records and food safety documentation.

Train, support, and supervise catering staff.

Manage staff performance and development.

Ensure residents' dietary needs and preferences are met.

Support inspections and maintain regulatory compliance.
Requirements
Previous Experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Chef
Food Safety Knowledge
Strong knowledge of HACCP principles, food safety regulations, and best practices in food preparation and storage.
Dietary and Nutritional Awareness
Experience preparing meals for individuals with special dietary requirements, including modified textures, allergies, and therapeutic diets.
Leadership and Team Management
Proven ability to supervise, support, and motivate kitchen staff while maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
Organisation and Communication Skills
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage stock, control food costs, and communicate effectively with residents, management, and multidisciplinary teams.
