Job Description
We are currently recruiting an experienced and professional Security Porter to join our team in Moate, Co. Westmeath. This is a full time position offering 48 hours per week. The successful candidate must be flexible to work both day and night shifts.
This role requires an experienced security professional who can maintain a safe and secure environment while delivering excellent customer service to staff, visitors, contractors, and members of the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Control access to the premises and ensure all visitors follow site procedures.
- Carry out regular internal and external security patrols.
- Monitor CCTV systems and report any suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and fire alarms.
- Complete incident reports, occurrence books, and shift handover records accurately.
- Report maintenance, health and safety, or security issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with general porter duties as required by the client.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Follow all company and client procedures and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
- Valid PSA Static Guarding Licence.
- Previous security experience is essential.
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full permission to work in Ireland.
