The Role:
We are seeking an MEP Technical Support Engineer with Plumbing/Electrical/Refrigeration experience to join the Technical Support team in Galway. The role is based in our Galway office.
Candidates - please note this is NOT an IT position. It requires plumbing or electrical experience.
Job description
The engineer will be part of a technical support team, providing technical support and training on all Joule products and systems to customers and internal staff. More specifically the Engineer will be responsible for:
- Installation, maintenance and fault-finding support on their range of Heat Pumps, heating, hot water and ventilation products and systems.
- Provide technical support to clients and customers and staff.
- Work as part of a team to solve problems and provide solutions for the client.
- Create technical content related to Joule Products.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- Plumbing/Electrical/Refrigeration experience.
- Excellent Communications skills.
- Strong customer focus and telephone manner
- Be able to work well as part of a team whilst also having the ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong IT and analytical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
The following would be an advantage
- Ventilation and Heat pump design and its integration in buildings.
- Qualifications in a trade such as electrical, plumbing, or refrigeration.
- Qualifications in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, energy or building services.
- Part L & Part F Building regulations
- UK & Irish Building Regulations
- Building industry rules and regulations for heating, plumbing, electricity and Refrigeration.
Work Schedule:
- 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday
