About Elderwell
We are currently seeking an organised, proactive and dependable Office Manager / HR & Administration Coordinator to join our team in Carrigaline. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in keeping systems, processes and people organised. As a key member of our team, you will support the smooth running of the office, coordinate essential HR and administrative processes, assist with rostering and payroll preparation, and help ensure our services continue to operate efficiently.
Key ResponsibilitiesOffice Administration
- Manage office emails, telephone enquiries and day-to-day correspondence.
- Source cover daily for absences ie. sick leave.
- Maintain organised filing systems, shared drives and company records.
- Ensure administrative documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate office supplies and general office requirements.
- Support the organisation of meetings, training sessions and online events.
HR & Staff Administration
- Maintain employee files and HR records.
- Process onboarding documentation for new staff.
- Update annual leave, sickness and absence records.
- Monitor training compliance and maintain staff training records.
- Support recruitment administration and candidate tracking.
- Ensure personnel files remain complete and compliant.
Rostering & Payroll Support
- Preparation and coordination of monthly staff rosters.
- Prepare payroll information and ensure deadlines are met.
- Verify annual leave and sickness records for payroll purposes.
Compliance & Record Management
- Maintain accurate administrative and compliance records.
- Conduct regular personnel file reviews.
- Support data management and record-keeping processes.
- Ensure documentation is maintained in line with company policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in office administration, HR administration, payroll support, or a similar administrative role.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional, reliable and proactive approach to work.
Desirable Requirements
- Qualification in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or a related field.
- Experience working within healthcare, social care, education, or community services.
- Full clean driving licence.

Monday to Friday - 8:30am – 2:00pm (27.5 hours per week)
Our office needs to be contactable from 8:30 to 2pm Monday to Friday – covered by at least one of the management team (phone and email)
Speciality / other training / team events are often conducted in the evenings or on Saturdays.
Once a month (currently the 2nd Monday or Tuesday of each month) an online team / support meeting is conducted – evening for 1 hour.
Travel for work is subsidised.
Salary: €27,500 - €32,000 per annum
Annual Leave: 20 days per year excluding public holidays
Pay: €27,500.00-€32,000.00 per year
