The Role
We are seeking a responsible, honest and hardworking Maintenance Operative for a busy property management company based in Galway City.
The role will involve maintenance of estate and apartment complex common areas as well as light repair work, throughout Galway city.
Responsibilities
· Power washing
· Salting footpaths and roads
· Road sweeping
· Gardening
· Painting
· General repair and maintenance of buildings
· Weekly checks
· Emptying bins
· Ad hoc duties as they arise
Requirements
· Full clean drivers licence
· Trailer licence desirable
· Excellent timekeeping
· Good written and spoken English
· Good knowledge of the maintenance trade
· Building or hotel maintenance experience
· Experience in the use of power tools
· Good problem-solving skills
· Strong focus on health and safety
· Strong attention to detail and being able to identify where maintenance attention is required.
· Good communication skills.
· Basic computer skills.
· Friendly, confident, positive and customer-focused, a team player.
· Good physical fitness as this position requires a lot of manual work
· Flexibility is required within this role. You may be required to be available for some scheduled on-call emergency work outside of normal office hours.

Salary
From€17 per hour. (Circa €35.5k annually) This will increase after successful completion of probation. High quality of work and reliability will be rewarded. 8 hour shift.
