The Eviston Collection, a hospitality group in the heart of Killarney, is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team. With a reputation for warm, authentic Irish hospitality across our renowned venues, we offer a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant, guest-focused environment where tradition meets innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar and restaurant patrons.
- Interact with guests, take orders, make recommendations, and provide an exceptional guest experience.
- Mix classic and signature cocktails, ensuring quality and consistency in every drink.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and enforce responsible alcohol service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
- Process payments accurately, balance cash receipts, and maintain tabs for guests.
- Assist in planning and presenting the bar menu, including suggesting new beverages and specials.
- Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
- Build rapport with regular customers and contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in a busy hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and bar equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage with a diverse clientele.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and a passion for delivering outstanding service
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Familiarity with Irish hospitality and local drink culture is an advantage.
