About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrician-Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified electrician with Quality Control (QC) certification and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical excellence. Experience or knowledge in the Solar Energy Sector is highly desirable.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of electrical and renewable energy projects, contributing to the delivery of high-quality installations and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with electrical regulations, standards, and company procedures.
- Carry out quality control checks and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems where required.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician with relevant trade certification.
- Quality Control (QC) certification.
- Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in the solar energy industry.
- Knowledge of photovoltaic (PV) systems, inverters, battery storage, and renewable energy technologies.
- Experience with testing and commissioning solar installations.
- Additional certifications related to renewable energy or electrical inspection.
