ClearSphere provide Controlled Environment solutions to the Life Science industry within Ireland, UK & Europe. We are recruiting an experienced Business Development Executive to directly support the achievement of ClearSphere’s Commercial Objectives following significant investment by the Business Growth Fund. You will work closely with both the Managing & Commercial Directors plus other key stakeholders of the business to represent ClearSphere as competitively as possible to both new and existing clients.
The role will involve creating a portfolio of clients, maintaining & growing existing client relationships, identifying opportunities to source new clients, ongoing account management and closing sales. There will be travel involved both to existing client sites and potential new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
· Growing existing client base in addition to developing new business opportunities
· Develop knowledge of the Company's products and solutions to accurately price & prepare tenders and to also submit mid project variations when required
· Sourcing key decision makers in targeted industries & companies
· Conduct market research on latest sector activity and competitor knowledge
· Representing the business in a polished, professional manner at all business meetings and events
· Collaborate with internal departments on campaigns to drive new leads
· Report on sales activity, appointments, inquiries, calls and proposals
Education/ Experience:
· Experience of selling Cleanroom and/or Containment solutions to the Irish Market or similar experience
· 3-5 years B2B business development experience
· Display solid business acumen and commercial awareness
· A proven track record of exceeding lead and activity targets
· Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to project a professional image.
· A self-motivated individual who possess a good work ethic and who has strong drive and desire to be successful.
· Educated to a degree level, preferably in a science or technical field
· Full and clean driving licence
