We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Retail Supervisor to join our team at Dingle Surf Shop. If you enjoy working with people, have an eye for fashion and merchandising, and love being part of a busy retail environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Whether you're passionate about surfing, swimming or the outdoors or simply enjoy delivering excellent customer service, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and providing friendly, knowledgeable service.
- Assisting customers with clothing, surf gear and accessories.
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy and well-presented at all times.
- Merchandising displays and maintaining an attractive retail space.
- Restocking shelves and processing new deliveries.
- Picking, packing and dispatching online orders accurately and efficiently.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the shop.
- Assisting with social media content such as appearing in short videos and photos to showcase new stock. Especially our women's clothing collections and new arrivals.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and enjoys working with customers.
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
- Confident communicating with people both in person and on camera.
- Interested in fashion, retail and outdoor lifestyle brands.
- Willing to learn about our products and provide great advice to customers.
- Able to work under pressure in a busy shop environment.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in surfing, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding or other water-sports.
- Experience creating social media content.
- Previous experience using Shopify or another iPad based retail POS system would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
Working Hours
- Weekend availability is essential, with some Saturday and Sunday work required.
