POSITION Hold Baggage Screening Security Agent
HOURS OF WORKNights 03.00 to 15.00 or 15:00 to 03:00
KEY TASK AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Tasks /Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operating high-tech security equipment such as X-Ray machines, explosive trace detectors.
- Working under pressure.
- Following and adhering to Dublin Airport SOP for Hold Baggage Screening.
- Have good communication skills.
Successful applications are expected to have:
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to procedures.
- Excellent dress code and personal presentation and hygiene
- Excellent timekeeping and work ethic
- Good communication skills: fluent spoken and written English
- Ability to work within a team.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Colour perfect vision for viewing x-ray images.
- Previous airport experience desirable.
No previous aviation security experience is required; all training will be provided by our highly experienced in-house training department.
The training is regulated by the Irish Aviation Authority and includes classroom and practical training.
