An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Golf Starter/Ranger to join a busy and prestigious Kerry Golf Club. This role is central to delivering an exceptional experience to both members and guests in a professional, customer-focused environment.
We are looking for an organised, customer‑oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for service excellence. The successful candidate will help to enhance the overall golfing experience for all members and guests. This will ensure a smooth and enjoyable round of golf by monitoring and maintaining pace of play on course and communicating effectively with the golf services team.
Employment Type
This is a seasonal position from June 2026 to October 2026.
39 hours per week. Weekend availability is required.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of the Rules of Golf is an advantage
- Previous customer service experience is essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and highly attentive to detail
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all members and visitors on arrival
- Verify tee times and ensure groups are organised efficiently
- Inform golfers of current course conditions and any relevant updates
- Monitor and manage pace of play across the golf course
- Engage with players to address delays or etiquette concerns
- Communicate clearly and consistently with the golf services team
- Represent the club professionally and positively at all times
