GPT is part of The Briggs Equipment Group, a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. Due to growth within our Dublin depot, we currently have a new opportunity for a Workshop Mechanic to join our team.
In this role you will be:
- Carrying out services, inspections, maintenance, and repair work on vehicles at our Dublin branch.
- Working closely with Service Manager and all departments to maintain an efficient process.
- Identitying issues and providing excellent customer service.
- Examining vehicles and performing vehicle health checks determining any additional work is required.
- Diagnosing specific fault issues and actioning appropriately.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly working area including common areas.
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
What will help you to excel in this role:
- Fully qualified mechanic
- Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
- The ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Good communication skills
