Join our team in LIMERICK this summer and teach English to international juniors at one of Ireland's most welcoming language schools.
ABOUT SEDA COLLEGE
SEDA College is an accredited Irish English language school with year-round
centres in Dublin and Cork, and summer programmes in Galway and Limerick.
Our LIMERICK summer school runs from 29 June to 31 August 2026 at Schuman Building, University of Limerick, with students living on-campus and host family.
Students are international juniors aged 12–18, mainly from Italy, Spain
and Brazil, with smaller numbers from other countries. Students study in the morning and take part in afternoon and evening activities, weekend excursions, and weekly social events.
THE ROLE
You will deliver engaging, communicative English lessons to mixed-
nationality classes of 12–15 students, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 16:00
(approximately 30.0 teaching hours per week).
Classes are CEFR-banded after a Day-1 placement test and balanced for
nationality mix, supporting an English-only environment. The Academic Manager provides lesson plans, resources and academic support — you
focus on bringing the classroom to life.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Teach engaging, level-appropriate English lessons,
- Organization and people management skils,
· Assess students´ progress and provide constructive feedback,
· Maintain an English-only classroom and mix nationalities,
- Cross-cultural Communication, Sensitivity, and Understanding,
- Knolwdge of and ability to teach STEM subjects is an asset,
· Brief the Director of Studies on any welfare or learning concern,
· Leave classrooms tidy at end of session (shared venue with Schuman Building )
CONTRACT
· Flexible duration — minimum 2 weeks, longer contracts preferred
· Peak fortnight (06 July – 19 July 2026) is the priority hiring window
· Start dates available on most Mondays from 29 June onwards
· Right to work in Ireland required
