Co-ordinator of Vocations Ireland
The Association of Missionaries and Religious Leaders of Ireland (AMRI) represents and promotes active collaboration between Religious Institutes, Societies of Apostolic Life and Lay Missionary Organisations. As a representative association, of 150 membership congregations our mission is to provide leadership and support and foster collaboration among our members.
The Purpose of the Role
The Coordinator of Vocations Ireland will work with those religious congregations who are members of Vocations Ireland to promote and foster vocations to religious life in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Work in partnership with the membership of Vocations Ireland to:
o develop and implement a strategy for vocations ministry in Ireland.
o review and evaluate current vocations ministry.
o review and develop strategic priorities.
o build positivity and enthusiasm for vocation ministry.
o strengthen relationships with various Church bodies and other institutions in order to foster awareness of vocations to religious life.
o coordinate and plan vocation promotion initiatives.
- Maintain active links with AMRI as part of the staff team.
Job Details
- Full time fixed contract.
- Flexibility as this role will involve some evening and weekend work.
