About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Retail Assistant / Customer Assistant to join our team. No previous retail experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer customer questions and provide information about products
- Operate the cash register and process payments
- Refill shelves and keep products organised
- Check prices and product displays
- Keep the store clean and tidy
- Help with stock deliveries and inventory
- Follow company health, safety and customer service standards
- Work as part of a friendly and supportive team
Requirements
- Good communication skills
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Reliable and responsible approach to work
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic English communication skills
- Previous retail experience is an advantage but not essential
