We are looking for a reliable, people-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Buncrana on a full-time maternity cover contract. Full training is provided. What we are looking for is the right attitude, a genuine interest in helping people, and strong attention to detail.
About the Role
You will work as part of a busy community pharmacy team, supporting the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy and delivering excellent care to our patients and customers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers and patients in a friendly, professional manner
- Stock control and merchandising
- Maintaining a well-organised pharmacy environment
- Supporting prescription processing and dispensing activities under pharmacist supervision
- Supporting pharmacists and colleagues with daily tasks

Role Details
Location: Buncrana, Co. Donegal
Contract: Full-time, specified-purpose maternity cover (9 months)
Start date: August 2026
Applicants must have the legal right to work in Ireland. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. We particularly welcome applications from candidates living within commuting distance of Buncrana. Applicants from Northern Ireland are welcome if they have the legal right to work in Ireland.
