About the Role
We are looking for an experienced waitstaff to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is a varied front-of-house role, combining restaurant service with accommodation duties. As well as providing excellent service to restaurant guests, you will welcome accommodation guests, assist with check-ins and check-outs, take bookings and respond to guest enquiries.
The role is primarily Monday to Friday, with some weekend work required.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take food and beverage orders and provide efficient table service.
- Welcome accommodation guests and assist with check-ins and check-outs.
- Take and manage restaurant and accommodation bookings.
- Answer guest enquiries in person and by phone.
- Assist guests with requests and provide information when required.
- Ensure restaurant and front-of-house areas are clean, tidy and welcoming.
- Process payments and bookings accurately.
- Work closely with the kitchen and wider team to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the guest experience.
- Follow all food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a waitstaff or similar hospitality role is required.
- Previous experience in accommodation, reception or taking bookings is an advantage.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, professional and welcoming manner.
- Good spoken English.
- Reliable, punctual and well organised.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday and some weekends.
