Cargo Defenders require a Vehicle Device Installer/ General Operative.
The role will include wiring and installing electronic equipment to Cars, Vans and Trucks including GPS equipment, Camera Systems, Tachograph downloaders and other devices. Other roles will include assisting in the warehouse and other general duties as required.
The role is full time and the candidate must be able to work Saturdays replaced by a day off during the week. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in vehicles and experience working on them some auto electrical experience would be an advantage. The job involves partially dismantling (and reassembling) vehicles dashboards so problem solving skills, and an ability to work issues out would be essential. Installation of vehicles are mainly at customer locations so the applicant must be willing to travel across Ireland. Overnight stays may be required at times.
