Due to continued growth, Dublin Tunnel Commercials ltd are looking for Full Time HGV & LGV Commercial Vehicle Testers with relevant certificates from the RSA, for our Test Centre in Cloghran, Co Dublin.
Or
A mechanic holding a Senior Trade Certificate/National Craft Certificate to at least FETAC Level 6 in the skill area of LCV, HGV willing to train as a tester.
You will be required to conduct all aspects of CVR Testing for LCV and HGV Vehicles.
Full job description:
To conduct vehicle tests, keeping up to date with current CVRT/RSA legislation, training and standards.
To communicate directly with customers the results of a test on their vehicle and explain/show on the vehicle where required
To ensure that all tests are carried out to the highest possible standard and that customers are treated with courtesy at all times
To undertake any other duties or activities as required
Role and responsibilities:
The applicant will be joining our current team of experienced testers.
The applicant must have good computer skills, good communication skills & have the ability to work independently & as part of a team. Excellent time keeping and attendance is essential.
The suitable candidate will be trained on the RSA CVRT training program.
Main duties will be the testing of Commercial vehicles.
Skills needed:
The suitable applicant MUST have Fetac level 6 Motor Mechanics or equivalent qualification, testing is carried out to RSA standards, training will be provided if not already authorised.
Minimum of 2 years Experience
Ability to work on own initiative
Basic computer skills
Good customer and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
