- Preferable 5 years experience in Ireland , private settings
- To maintain the core ethos of the clinic through interactions with patients, staff, suppliers and partners
- Provide the highest standard of care to patients attending the clinic
- Operate and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Act as Front of House, meeting and greeting patients on arrival or by phone
- Manage and coordinate the diaries of all medical staff
- Setting up infusions and taking bloods
- Communicate effectively and securely with patients and other staff members in accordance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR Regulations.
- Maintain an organised and where possible paper-free administrative system
- Approach work with a proactive and problem-solving attitude
- Demonstrate empathetic approach in understanding patients’ problems
Duties:
- Assisting in the coordination of patient treatments as directed by the Consultants
- Patient communication: patiently and comprehensively answer any patient queries that are within the remit of the role to answer
- Be aware of the need for timely action both in relation to workload and dealing with patients
- Patient chart preparation ahead of consults including collation of all relevant results/ paperwork
- Processing and recording payments
- Claims submitting to insurers and reconciliation
- Managing/ordering administrative stock appropriately
- Administrative tasks including but not limited to:
o Typing letters to GP/referral letters/ medical reports
o Liaising with radiology, laboratories and other third parties to ensure all patient results are available at time of consult
o Filing/scanning
- Treatment/ theatre coordination – ensuring patients are appropriately booked on the direction of the Consultants/ Nurse Manager
- Documenting all appropriate correspondence and interactions on patient management software programme
- Liaise with third party clinics/hospitals/pharmacies as part of the service provision if and when required
Academic/ Professional Qualifications and/or Relevant Experience
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 4 years experience as Nurse
- Bachelor of Nursing (General) Degree
- Fluent English
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Patient and compassionate
- Highly organised and good attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to receive feedback and be open to continuous development and improvement
Proficiency in the English Language:
This role requires fluency in the English language. If English is not the post-holder’s native language, strong written and verbal communication skills should be demonstrated as is essential for this role
