What You'll Be Doing:

Manage day to day supplier relationships covering generic, parallel trade and brand equalisation opportunities as they present.

Interpret trends, market changes and translate into commercial offerings.

Review and understand other market offerings. Understand the customer base and in conjunction with the Head of Commercial Procurement plan strategy.
- Support the future roll out of commercial changes to the customer base.

Work with suppliers to mitigate impact resulting from market shortages.
- Work with suppliers to ensure best price and margin is achieved across the business.

Assist retail teams to adhere to procurement sourcing preferences. Draw insights from reporting to highlight opportunities as they present.

Manage set up and implementation of supplier agreements within the business to deliver budgeted margin plan.

Support monthly supplier claim report processes where required.

Prepare and present commercial performance analysis for wider department.

Manage and resolve customer queries relating to supply, price or product.

Support the Head of Commercial Procurement with other requests.

Take responsibility for own development as well as assist with the training of junior team members.

Build and maintain strong relationships with other departments within the business.

Use internal forecasting tools to drive compliance at retail level
What You'll Need to Succeed:

Third Level qualification in Business preferable
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Retail, Trading or Assistant Buying or working within a commercial buying department in a commercial analysis role.

Demonstrable supplier relationship management skills.

Ability to use initiative and identify areas of opportunity.

Proficient in use of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.

Great attention to detail with a commercial aptitude.
