Job description:
Cronin Group, based in Dublin, is a leading provider of machinery moving, heavy lifting, and transportation solutions for diverse industry sectors across Ireland.
As an experienced Rigger with Cronin Group, you will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient execution of our projects.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong practical skills, an excellent safety mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute lifting, loading, lashing, transporting, unloading, unpacking, and positioning of heavy plant, machinery, and sensitive equipment.
- Operate a range of plant and equipment including forklifts, MEWPs, lifting gear, power tools, and hydraulic jacks.
- Ensure all rigging equipment is inspected, certified, and used in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Follow site instructions from the Cronin Supervisor and adhere to all site safety and operational procedures.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the team to coordinate complex moves.
- Support other areas of the business (including logistics, warehouse, and relocation services) as required.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and professionalism on all sites.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- At least 3 year's rigging and lifting experience, ideally on large-scale or complex projects.
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
- Current Forklift and MEWP operator licences.
- Applicants must have reliable transport and easy access to work on sites throughout Dublin.
- Full, clean Category B driving licence or higher.
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices and a commitment to working safely at all times.
- Ability to work off your own initiative as well as within a team.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday (overtime and weekend work may be required depending on project needs).
Pay: €20.00-€22.00 per hour
