Assistant Store Manager – PartyHQ
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Store Manager to join the PartyHQ team.
Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll help lead the day-to-day running of the store, support and motivate the team, and make sure every customer receives a great experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager with the daily operations of the store
- Lead and motivate the team, helping to create a positive and productive working environment
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure high standards across the team
- Take responsibility for the store when the Store Manager is not present
- Support staff training, development and performance
- Help manage rotas, breaks and daily team organisation
- Maintain high standards of merchandising, presentation and stock availability
- Support stock deliveries, replenishment and inventory management
- Monitor store performance and help the team achieve sales targets
- Ensure company procedures, health & safety and operational standards are followed
- Support the Store Manager during busy trading periods and seasonal peaks
- Help create a fun, energetic and welcoming atmosphere for both customers and the team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous retail experience, ideally in a supervisory or management position
- Strong communication and people skills
- Confidence leading a team and making decisions
- A hands-on approach and willingness to get involved in all areas of the store
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, reliable and solution-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and during our busiest seasonal periods
About the Role
PartyHQ is a fast-paced and highly seasonal retail business, so no two days are exactly the same. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can keep things organised when the store gets busy, and is comfortable stepping up and taking ownership when needed.
The Assistant Store Manager will play an important role in supporting the Store Manager and developing a strong, motivated team while delivering a consistently great experience for our customers.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €17.00-€19.00 per hour
