Hotel Isaacs are currently recruiting for a part-time Maintenance Assistant to join our team and ensure that the hotel is maintained to the highest possible standards.
Main duties include:
· To provide general maintenance within the hotel premises when required.
· To contact and assist plumbers, electricians and other outside contractors, ensuring that work is completed to a satisfactory standard and place of work is returned to order.
· To uphold the company’s ethos on customer care by ensuring that all customer queries and complaints are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner and are detailed to the Hotel Maintenance Manager/General Manager as appropriate.
· To liaise with the necessary personnel in order to ensure that all maintenance requirements are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
· To notify the Maintenance Manager / General Manager should a maintenance problem require further attention.
· To assist the Maintenance Manager/General Manager in the control of expenditure for maintenance repairs, renewals and supplies.
· To take due care of yourself, colleagues, clients and anyone on the property while carrying out your duties.
· To record all accidents and report them to the Maintenance Manager/General Manager.
· To operate machinery and care for it as necessary, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety Procedures.
· To ensure that all the hotel is secure and safe in line with Health & Safety regulations.
Pay: €14.50 per hour
