DICK BARRY AND SON AUCTIONEERS are looking for an Office Administrator to join our well-established Auctioneers and Estate agency Office in Fermoy . We pride ourselves on delivering a highly professional and responsive service to our clients.
Role and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting clients, managing the phones , and handling general email and postal inquiries in a professional manner.
- Property Listings: Assist with preparing property brochures and uploading listings to property portals like Daft.ie and MyHome.ie.
- Office Coordination: Manage office supplies, coordinate manager/valuer diaries, and maintain organized filing systems.
- Sales Support: Prepare contracts, assist with auction/viewing preparation, and liaise with vendors, buyers, and solicitors.
- General Admin: General data entry, processing invoices, and other routine office bookkeeping duties.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Work experience as an Office administrator or similar role
- Hands-on experience with office equipment
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organisational skills
- Technical skills and proficiency with Microsoft packages, Excel and Outlook and ability to keep Advertising updated on Social Media platforms .
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
Pay: €17.00-€20.00 per hour
