We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Delivery Driver/General Operative to join our dynamic team.
Job Description: As a Delivery Driver/General Operative, your primary role will be to ensure the safe and timely delivery of our products to customers. You will work closely with our sales and warehouse teams to prepare and load goods for delivery. Your base of operations will be our warehouse located in Clongill, Wilkinstown.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company van to deliver kitchens, bathrooms, and tiles to various destinations.
- Collaborate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and efficient loading and unloading of goods.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure safe transportation of goods.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and order preparation.
Requirements:
- Full, clean Irish driving license.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy goods.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
- Forklift Licence would be beneficial, but not essential.
