The Salthill Hotel is seeking a professional, customer-focused Concierge to join our team. This is a dual-role position that combines exceptional guest service with hotel security responsibilities. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests while also helping to maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests in a warm, professional, and friendly manner.
Assist guests with luggage, directions, local recommendations and general enquiries.
Monitor guest access and maintain a visible presence throughout the hotel.
Carry out regular security patrols of the hotel and grounds.
Respond appropriately to security incidents, emergencies and fire alarm activations.
Liaise with hotel management when required.
Ensure all security and health & safety procedures are followed.
Assist with guest requests and support other departments as required.
Maintain accurate incident and security logs.
Requirements
A valid Irish PSA Security License is essential.
Previous experience in hospitality, concierge, hotel security or customer service is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and a courteous, approachable manner.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with challenging situations confidently.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
