We are looking for a few friendly, reliable and organised people to join our reception team here at Castle Durrow.
Castle Durrow is a family-run country house, and we like our guests to feel at home from the moment they contact us. Reception is a big part of that welcome, so we are looking for people who enjoy meeting others, are helpful by nature and will take pride in looking after our guests.
We currently have opportunities for a full-time receptionist, a part-time weekday receptionist and a reception supervisor. The part-time position can be flexible around school hours. We understand how important it is to be able to plan ahead, so hours will be predictable and generally the same each week.
The work includes welcoming guests, answering calls and emails, managing bookings, helping with arrivals and departures, and keeping in touch with the rest of the team throughout the house. Good organisation is an important part of the role, as reception helps keep everything running smoothly. You will need to be comfortable managing different tasks, keeping accurate notes and making sure messages and guest requests are followed up.
Experience is always welcome, but it is not essential for our receptionist positions. If you are friendly, organised and willing to learn, we will be happy to show you the ropes. For the supervisor role, previous reception or customer service experience would be preferred, together with the confidence to organise and support the reception team.
