As our Real Estate Department grows, we are looking to expand. Our Team provides legal services to a wide range of national and international clients, including developers, commercial landlords and tenants, financial institutions, corporate borrowers, alternative lenders and other providers of equity investment and debt finance.
Members of our Team are also encouraged to actively participate in marketing and business development and ongoing knowledge and professional development is keenly supported.
We will ideally look for experience in some or all of the following
- 4+ years PQE post-qualification experience as a construction solicitor
- Experience drafting and negotiating Construction Contracts in the industry standard forms
- Drafting and negotiation of project agreements
- Drafting and negotiation of Appointments for professional team and Collateral Warranties
- Drafting bespoke suites of project documents
- In depth Knowledge of Financing of Construction and Development Projects
- Experience in Construction Disputes, Warranty Claims and Contractor and Developer Insolvency
Skills & Expertise
- Trained in a top-tier law firm in Ireland that has externally-recognised expertise in projects and/or construction law;
- Good knowledge of construction and procurement law;
- Regulatory knowledge of relevant law surrounding construction and building regulations in Ireland;
- Ability to support colleagues from other related practice areas where there is overlap with construction matters;
- Pro-active thinker and problem solver;
- Excellent communicator;
- Can work on own initiative as well as being a strong Team player;
- Possess strong technical and interpersonal skills; and
- Excellent attention to detail.
