Duties include:
· Plan and implement learning and education for the children attending the service using Aistear and Siolta guidelines
· Ensure the room environment is suitable for age appropriate activities and free play
· Responsible for ensuring holistic development and the wellbeing of their key children
· Ensure that learning journals and observations are kept up to date
· Liaise with centre manager
· Liaise with AIM Support /Better start support staff where necessary
· Good communication and relationship with parents
· Maintain all paperwork as necessary within the room
· Work well within a team and on own initiative
· Follow all guidelines, policies and procedures within the service
· Attend meetings and training where necessary
Requirements:
· QQI level 7 in childcare desirable.
· 1 years’ experience in a previous role desirable.
Job Specification:
· Monday to Friday
· Max 40 hour week
