Churchfield Home Services is expanding its Insulation Crew and is seeking high-performance Skilled Operatives to support Internal Wall Insulation (IWI) installations across Dublin and surrounding areas.
You will work under an Insulation Supervisor delivering NSAI-certified internal insulation and drylining systems in line with SEAI standards, Project Specific Designs (PSD), and CHS quality frameworks.
At Churchfield, operatives work within defined systems, SOPs and safety frameworks — enabling you to build real technical competence while progressing toward supervisory and leadership roles.
What You’ll Do
Pre-Installation
- Review Works Orders, PSD and RAMS prior to works
- Prepare tools, materials and work areas correctly
- Protect customer property and maintain clean working environments
Installation – Internal Wall Insulation (IWI)
Under Supervisor direction:
- Inspect substrates for damp, defects or suitability issues
- Install vapour control layers and airtightness detailing
- Cut and fit insulated plasterboard systems to specification
- Install mechanical fixings or adhesive systems correctly
- Prevent thermal bridging and ensure correct board alignment
- Complete jointing, meshing and skim finishing to a high standard
Completion
- Support documentation and photographic records
- Resolve snags under Supervisor direction
- Leave work areas clean and ready for follow-on trades
- Maintain professional conduct with customers onsite
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience in drylining, insulation or construction preferred
- Comfortable working in occupied homes
- Strong attention to detail and finish quality
- Ability to follow structured PSD layouts and Supervisor instruction
- Safe Pass
- Manual Handling
- Full Category B driving licence preferred
- Professional, safety-conscious approach
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
Internal insulation experience is advantageous but not essential — structured training is provided.
