Job Title General Operative – Egg Packer
Contract type Full Time Permanent
Reporting to Production Manager
Location Greenfield Foods, Mullandava, Smithboro, Co. Monagahan H18YY33
Pay Terms Wages are paid on a weekly basis
Duties Include
The core duties of the role is to work as part of a team operating the egg grader. This work involves
- Packing of egg cartons in to boxes
- Ensuring that cartons and boxes are correctly labelled and identified
- Maintaining efficient operation of the machine
- Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of the work area, cleaning up spills and disposal of waste
- General duties around the grading equipment related to the packing, palletising and preparation of eggs for dispatch
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to work well in a team and assist colleagues
- Knowledge and experience in a food manufacturing environment an advantage, but not essential
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude

Working hours
- General Operative employees core hours are 8am to 4:15 pm Monday to Friday, however, you are expected to be co-operative in working outside these hours if necessary.
- General Operative employees are required to work Saturdays from 8am-4:15pm in rotation with the other grader staff (generally one Saturday each month)
- In busier seasons, Sunday work may also become available.
- Public Holidays – General Operative employees are required to work Public Holidays in rotation with the other Grader staff
