Are you passionate about wine, cheese, and exceptional customer service? We are looking for an experienced Winebar person to join our team. We feature new and old-world wines with an emphasis on natural and biodynamic wines. All wines are imported and selected exclusively by Sheridans from Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Austria and Germany.

Provide outstanding customer service, sharing your enthusiasm for great wine and cheese.

Offer personalised wine and cheese recommendations, guiding guests through pairings and selections.

Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting bar and counter area.

Assist with wine and cheese tastings, events, and in-store experiences.

Handle service with care and attention to quality, presentation, and current alcohol regulations.

Support stock rotation and restocking to maintain freshness and consistency.

Uphold food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.

At least 1 years' experience in a similar role preferable

Genuine interest in and excellent knowledge of wine

Relevant experience in hospitality or a vineyard

Minimum 1 years' experience in a food and wine retail environment

HACCP and WSET trained preferable but not essential

Certification as a sommelier or a degree in hospitality desirable but not essential
